Bakugan Toys are actually based off a cartoon on the Cartoon Network where the characters in the cartoon play the game Bakugan to save the world. In the cartoon the characters play the game using marble shaped pieces that open up into dragons or different characters. Each playing piece is worth so many points in strength. They also have cards that allow them to boost the experience of their characters. With all of this they battle it out with the enemies trying to harm earth.
Like the Cartoon the actual game is played almost the same but the marble shaped characters are just small toy figures that open up when you drop them on the playing surface.
